Year-End Review and Forecast
AIA released its year-end report on the financial health of the aerospace industry on December 16th. The overall message indicated optimism and confidence for the future of aerospace. Shipments are up, and total industry sales are expected to finish 2009 with an increase of more than 4 percent, a remarkable feat in light of the current economic environment. The 45th Annual Year-End Review and Forecast shows an industry that has remained strong through a period of global economic turmoil, and will continue its role as a leading force of the U.S. economy.
