Member dues are determined by the Board of Governors and are based on the average of the member's U.S. aerospace sales for the previous two years. Maximum dues are $400,000 and minimum dues are $6,800. To learn how AIA defines aerospace sales, please click here.
The current dues formula works out to $22,000 for each $100 million of U.S. aerospace sales, up to $500 million, with an additional $4,667 for each $100 million over that up to $2 billion; and $15,000 for every one billion above that amount up to $9 billion (.00022 x the average gross U.S. aerospace sales for the previous two calendar years up to $2 billion; and .000015 on sales in excess of that amount up to $9 billion).
Dues for Associate Member companies are based on an average of the member’s sales for the previous two years. Companies with sales under $50 million pay annual dues of $3,000, and companies with sales over $50 million pay annual dues of $5,000.
