Nathaniel Phillips is the Director of Standards for the National Aerospace Standards (NAS) program at the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA). In this role, he reviews and edits standards under the NAS’s purview, providing recommendations to the National Aerospace Standards Committee (NASC). He also collaborates with the NASC Steering Committee to revise standards as part of the 5-Year Review Process.

Before joining AIA, Phillips worked as a Product Engineer at Cummins, Inc., where he managed the development of Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) and intake components across various diesel engine platforms. He led the testing required to validate these components and worked closely with suppliers to ensure the highest quality standards.

Phillips holds a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
