Chloe Wolchko is a Standards Engineer at the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA). In this role, she collaborates with AIA’s National Aerospace Standards Committee to support the development and maintenance of NAS part standards and specifications, which are used globally in both military and commercial aircraft.

Before joining AIA, Wolchko interned at the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), where she worked with the Fire Protection Engineering team. At NAVFAC, she assisted in editing building drawings and gained experience navigating the National Fire Protection Association Handbooks. Wolchko also interned at NASA Langley Research Center with the Aeronautics Systems Analysis branch, where she researched the use of large-scale UAVs equipped with hyperspectral imagers to track harmful algae blooms in the Chesapeake Bay. During her undergraduate studies, Wolchko was involved in a senior design project where she and her team researched, designed, and tested a morphing glider drone intended for medical supply delivery.

Wolchko earned her bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in aerospace from Old Dominion University.
