Particularly during Pride month and the events of 2020, we’re proud to recognize the 30 AIA member companies who achieved a perfect score of 100 in the Human Rights Campaign’s 2020 Corporate Equality Index. This index is the widely accepted national measurement tool of corporate policies and programs regarding inclusion of LGBT+ employees.

While we are proud of the steps these members have taken thus far, we know there is still a long way to go to achieve complete inclusiveness. And this isn’t a problem we can fix by just focusing on our industry. We must all be a part of the solution for the larger and underlying issues. We must all commit to fighting against systemic biases concerning race, gender, sexual orientation, and other biases everywhere. Only then can our industry be satisfied with the work we are doing and truly access the best workforce this country has to offer.
