Arlington, Va. (March 30, 2022) – Today, the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) President and CEO Eric Fanning released the following statement on the Senate confirmation of Judith Pryor to be First Vice President of the U.S. Export-Import Bank:
“The global market is fiercely competitive, and the United States needs every set of tools and trade policy measures at its disposal to level the playing field and contend for export opportunities. Judith Pryor is a skilled leader with a clear understanding of the critical support that the Export-Import Bank provides American manufacturers. We look forward to her continuing the important work of leveling the playing field for U.S. exporters, creating new opportunities for U.S. companies, and strengthening our strategic relationships throughout the world.”
AIA also sent a letter urging her confirmation last year.
