Arlington, Va. (Dec. 6, 2023) – Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) President and CEO Eric Fanning today released the following statement after participating in the kickoff of the joint United States-Ukraine industry conference, hosted by the Departments of Defense, State, and Commerce:
“American industry is a strategic asset and a crucial element of how the United States supports our allies and partners. Bringing American and Ukrainian industry together in this format can help set the groundwork for building industrial base resilience, sharing knowledge, and improving the co-development of equipment and technologies that will prove decisive on the battlefield. This should be an example moving forward of how the United States and our allies and partners can and should cooperate to respond to global threats, and we hope to see this type of dialogue with industry continue in the future.”
