Arlington, Va. (March 21, 2024) – The Aerospace Industries Association yesterday convened a delegation of U.S. industry representatives in Arlington, Va., to meet with U.S. and French government delegates to the second U.S.-France Comprehensive Dialogue on Space. More than 50 U.S. and French space companies joined the dialogue to discuss issues across civil, commercial, and national security space.

“The dialogue is a unique setting to share opportunities to grow space commerce between the U.S. and France with both governments directly,” said Mike French, AIA’s Vice President of Space Systems. “This was the second meeting ever and the first the United States has hosted, with AIA playing a leading role in the dialogue as an industry convener. Right now, space has never been more important to our economy and national security, which is why we must work to strengthen our international partnerships. AIA is proud to have hosted this dialogue, and we look forward to continuing these conversations in the future.”
