Ethan BayerCoordinator, International Affairs & National Security Policy

Ethan Bayer serves as the Coordinator for International Affairs and National Security Policy at the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA).

Before joining AIA, Bayer interned at the White House under the Biden Administration in the Office of Presidential Correspondence. In this role, he helped manage outgoing communications with the American public and assisted in overseeing the Comment Line. Prior to his time at the White House, Bayer interned on several political campaigns, including Congresswoman Elaine Luria’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee’s Finance team. He also worked in the Richmond and Washington, D.C. offices of U.S. Senator Tim Kaine, where he served as a liaison between constituents and the federal government.

Bayer is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations, along with a double minor in Business and Homeland Security. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in International Relations at American University’s School of International Service.
