The CALC provides CEO-level guidance to AIA’s Executive Committee and strategic direction to AIA’s Civil Aviation Committee on common, noncompetitive civil aviation matters, in both domestic and international markets. The council provides broad policy guidance and direction to AIA plans and actions designed to benefit the civil aviation manufacturing industry and to ensure access to a fair and open international market for U.S. aviation products.
