The International Exhibitions Consortium discusses and reviews participation in overseas trade shows and coordinates with DoD and all USG agencies to ensure appropriate military equipment and US delegations attend. AIA provides support to member needs and US military crews, facilitates interaction with foreign dignitaries/USG officials, hosts high-level events, develops USG roundtables for member companies, and promotes the U.S. aerospace and defense industry abroad. The group operates pursuant to the provisions of the Export Trade Certificate of Review, which was granted to AIA by the Commerce Department.
