“NASA offers new perspectives on Earth and the solar system, advances new technologies, inspires future generations, and plays a critical role in our daily lives,” said AIA President and CEO Eric Fanning. “Regular congressional authorization ensures that NASA can sustain its vital programs and establish updated policies to further research and discovery. We thank Chairman Frank Lucas and Ranking Member Zoe Lofgren for prioritizing this legislation, and we remain committed to working with Congress to pass a NASA authorization bill this year.”
