Arlington, Va. – Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) President and CEO Eric Fanning today commended the Senate Appropriations Committee for a successful markup of the Fiscal Year 2025 Defense appropriations legislation:
“AIA welcomes progress towards enacting full-year, on-time, and adequate appropriations that will strengthen the bedrock of our nation: our national security,” Fanning said. “We are especially pleased to see the committee prioritize aviation and space modernization, as well as investments in the defense industrial base. We thank Chairman Tester, Ranking Member Collins, and committee Chairwoman Murray for their commitment to national security and look forward to working with the committee as this bill advances.”
