Arlington, Va. – Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) President and CEO Eric Fanning today commended the Senate Appropriations Committee for advancing its Fiscal Year 2025 Commerce-Justice-Science bill, which allocates funding to key agencies including National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA):
“AIA welcomes the Senate Appropriations Committee’s progress on legislation that funds NASA, and we thank Senators Shaheen and Moran for their leadership on space and science issues. From launching satellites that will secure our nation to commercial space travel, space is the next frontier, and what we do now will determine our future dominance in space,” Fanning said. “AIA will continue to champion funding for NASA and key space exploration programs as this bill moves through the process.”
