Arlington, Va. – The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA), the leading voice representing the American aerospace and defense industry, today announced that Marta Hernandez, currently the Senior Director of Communications, has been promoted to Vice President of Communications, effectively immediately.
“Marta is one of the most effective communicators in Washington, advocating for our members, the industry, and AIA. Her strategy, instinct, and influence has been an instrumental piece of AIA’s footprint,” Eric Fanning, AIA’s President and CEO said. “Marta’s promotion is well-deserved, and I look forward to seeing how she continues to advocate for our members.”
Hernandez joined AIA in 2022 after serving as the top spokesperson for the Senate Armed Services Committee and as the Deputy Communications Director on the House Appropriations Committee.
