“As the global semiconductor shortage impacts our industry and our national security, we applaud Congress for prioritizing strategic investments in the domestic semiconductor manufacturing base, supporting American jobs, and strengthening our global leadership in chip technology. Action this week on the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022 by both the House and Senate was an important step in the right direction, and we look forward to President Biden signing the bill into law as quickly as possible.”
