Arlington, Va. (March 28, 2022) – Today, the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) President and CEO Eric Fanning issued the following statement outlining AIA’s civil aviation priorities in President Biden’s Fiscal Year 2023 budget:
“The President’s FY23 budget comes at a critical time for the United States aerospace and defense (A&D) industry. As our industry continues to recover from the pandemic and assesses the impact of recent global events to our supply chain, we must remain focused on keeping U.S. airspace the safest on the planet, investing in our world-class workforce, and incentivizing production of sustainable aviation technologies. We look forward to continuing our work with the Biden Administration and other stakeholders on securing these critical priorities.”
