Arlington, Va. (Jan. 5, 2022) – Today, Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) President and CEO Eric Fanning released the following statement in response to AT&T and Verizon agreeing to a short delay in 5G deployment:
“The United States has the safest aviation system in the world and keeping it that way will always be our top priority. Safe aviation and 5G can coexist, which is why we are committed to working together with the telecommunications industry to avoid delays, diversions, and flight cancellations.”
