Arlington, Va.– The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA), the leading voice for the American aerospace and defense industry, today announced that Tim White, a highly experienced leader of technology-focused transformations, has joined AIA as Vice President of Engineering and Technology.  

“As cutting-edge advancements in technology continue to transform American aerospace and defense in new and unprecedented ways, the Aerospace Industries Association is leading the way to ensure U.S. industry and government are equipped to seize the opportunities ahead of us,” said Eric Fanning, AIA’s President and CEO. “With the ever-changing nature of the industry, Tim’s extensive background in innovative technologies up and down the supply chain will amplify AIA’s commitment to providing strategic direction to both our members and government stakeholders, preserving global competitiveness, and maintaining U.S. leadership in innovation.” 

White joins AIA from his previous position as the Aerospace & Defense Industry Principal at Interos. In this role, he was responsible for assisting clients to implement cutting edge technology solutions to mitigate risk. White has also served in engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality leadership roles with Raytheon, Honeywell, and Bechtel. White holds a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Brigham Young University as well as a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from the George Washington University.
