Drake McGregorSenior Manager, Standards

Drake McGregor is the Senior Manager of Standards for the National Aerospace Standards (NAS) program at the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA). In this role, he reviews and edits standards under the NAS’s purview, providing recommendations to the National Aerospace Standards Committee (NASC). He also collaborates with the NASC Steering Committee to revise standards as part of the 5-Year Review Process.

Before joining AIA, McGregor worked as the Manager of Accreditation and Technical Programs at AIHA Laboratory Accreditation Programs, LLC (AIHA LAP), managing the enterprise’s five accreditation programs and spearheading business development opportunities to expand the company’s accreditation offerings. He led the development of AIHA LAP’s online data management system to accept, review, and approve accreditation applications digitally, and integrated other technical programs into the organization’s workflows to remove risks and automate manual processes and procedures. 

McGregor holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the Pennsylvania State University and is a certified PMP®.
