Jacob Wood is the Coordinator for Civil Aviation & Space Programs at the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA), collaborating with AIA’s Civil Aviation, Space Systems, and Engineering & Technology divisions.

Before joining AIA, Wood served as a Senior External Affairs Associate at Penta Group, where he supported the firm’s research division through stakeholder engagement across the public and private sectors. He previously held roles with the American Association of Port Authorities, J Street, and various political campaigns and advocacy groups, gaining experience in government relations, data management, and legislative affairs.

Wood is currently pursuing a Master of Professional Studies in Political Management with a concentration in Global Politics at George Washington University, where he also completed his Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Public Policy, concentrating in Security Policy.
